Make a quick, satisfying weeknight dinner using just your air fryer. This recipe delivers tender chicken bites and crisp broccoli florets with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch bites
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon melted butter for tossing after cooking

Instructions

  1. Place the cut chicken bites in a medium bowl. Add half of the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated.
  2. Place the broccoli florets in a separate bowl. Drizzle with the remaining half of the olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss lightly.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
  4. Since broccoli cooks faster than chicken, you will cook in two stages. Place the seasoned chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8 minutes.
  5. After 8 minutes, shake the basket well. Open the air fryer and quickly add the seasoned broccoli florets around the chicken pieces, trying not to overcrowd the basket.
  6. Continue cooking for another 7 to 9 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  7. If desired, transfer the cooked chicken and broccoli to a bowl and toss with melted butter for extra flavor. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results and crispy chicken, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • This recipe is naturally Keto friendly.
  • If you prefer a saucier finish, toss the cooked mixture with 2 tablespoons of your favorite low-sugar barbecue sauce or a simple lemon-garlic sauce after cooking.
