Make the ultimate summer refresher with this easy Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri recipe. You get a perfectly balanced, icy cocktail using real strawberries, fresh lime juice, and smooth rum. This is the best strawberry daiquiri for parties or relaxing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 4 oz white rum
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup (see notes for recipe)
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice (optional, for thicker blend)
  • Lime wheels, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients. You need a good blender for this frozen cocktail.
  2. Place the frozen strawberries, white rum, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup into your blender jar.
  3. Add the crushed ice, if you prefer a very thick, icy texture.
  4. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and uniform. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  5. Taste the mixture. If it needs more tartness, add a small squeeze of lime juice. If it needs more sweetness, add a splash more simple syrup. Blend again briefly.
  6. Pour the blended strawberry daiquiri immediately into chilled glasses.
  7. Garnish each glass with a lime wheel before serving.

Notes

  • To make simple syrup, combine equal parts granulated sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Let it cool before using it in your cocktails.
  • For a non-alcoholic daiquiri, simply omit the rum and add 2-3 extra ounces of water or strawberry juice to help the mixture blend smoothly.
  • If you only have fresh strawberries, add 1 cup of ice for every 1 cup of fresh strawberries used to achieve the frozen consistency.
