Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Create your own delicious pumpkin spice syrup for lattes and coffee drinks. This easy recipe is perfect for fall.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine water, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean jar or bottle.
  6. Let cool completely before storing in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For a smoother syrup, strain twice.
  • Adjust spice levels to your preference.
  • The syrup will last for about 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
