- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or sweetener of choice
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Combine milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, whisking until well combined and warm. Do not boil.
- Pour the hot mixture into a mug.
- Add the brewed coffee or espresso to the mug.
- Stir well.
- Top with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- For an iced version, combine all ingredients (except whipped cream) with ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
