A simple pecan pie cobbler recipe that combines the best of pecan pie and cobbler. This dessert is perfect for holidays and gatherings.

  • 1 box refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Press the pie crust into the bottom and up the sides of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and chopped pecans. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the batter evenly over the pie crust in the baking dish.
  8. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
