Ingredients
Scale
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups mini pretzels, lightly crushed
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
Instructions
Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and the peanut butter.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the mixture is completely smooth and melted. This usually takes 60 to 90 seconds total.
Stir the crushed pretzels into the melted peanut butter and chocolate mixture until they are evenly coated.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. Press it down lightly with a spatula.
If using, melt the white chocolate chips separately using the same microwave method. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top of the bark.
Place the pan in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, or until the bark is completely firm.
Lift the bark out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Break or cut the bark into irregular pieces. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
If you want a thicker bark, use a 9×5 inch loaf pan instead of an 8×8 inch pan.
You can substitute peanut butter with almond butter or sunflower seed butter for a different flavor profile.
