I’m Alex, and I am happy you found this recipe. This creamy dill pickle dip is full of bold, tangy flavor and comes together in just 10 minutes. It is the perfect, easy party food for game days or any casual gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice (from the jar)
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy spoon to beat the cheeses together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried dill weed, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Taste the dip and add a small amount of extra pickle juice if you want more tang.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Serve your homemade pickle dip cold with your favorite chips, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For an extra layer of flavor, you can add 1 tablespoon of dried ranch seasoning mix to the dip base.
  • If you want a texture closer to a Pickle Wrap Dip, stir in 2 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese before chilling.
  • This dip pairs perfectly with sturdy potato chips, bagel chips, or celery sticks.
