I am glad you are here. This recipe proves that incredible, soul-satisfying dessert does not need to be complicated. You can make this ultra-creamy, no-bake peanut butter pie with a graham cracker crust in under 20 minutes of prep time. It is the perfect make-ahead dessert for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed (or use heavy cream whipped to stiff peaks)
  • Optional Topping: Chocolate ganache or peanut butter cups

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Place the crust in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
  2. Make the filling base: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until it is smooth. Add the creamy peanut butter and beat until fully incorporated.
  3. Sweeten the filling: Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the peanut butter mixture. Beat on low speed until just combined, then increase speed to medium and beat until the mixture is smooth and velvety.
  4. Fold in the topping: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping using a spatula until no streaks remain. Be careful not to deflate the whipped topping.
  5. Assemble the pie: Spoon the peanut butter filling evenly into the chilled graham cracker crust. Smooth the top with the back of a spoon or an offset spatula.
  6. Chill: Cover the pie loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the filling to set completely.
  7. Serve: Before serving, top with your choice of chocolate ganache or chopped peanut butter cups, if desired. Slice and enjoy this easy peanut butter pie.

Notes

  • For the best texture, ensure your cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
  • If you want a richer, more classic flavor, substitute the graham cracker crust with a chocolate cookie crust made from crushed Oreos and melted butter.
  • This is a great make-ahead dessert; it holds up well in the refrigerator for up to three days.
