Make this simple, creamy seafood salad using imitation crab meat. It requires no cooking and comes together fast, perfect for a quick lunch, light dinner, or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz imitation crab meat (flaked)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 stalks celery (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Flake the imitation crab meat into small pieces using your hands or two forks. Place the flaked crab in a medium bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, fresh dill, Dijon mustard, and Old Bay seasoning until smooth.
  3. Add the chopped celery to the bowl with the crab meat.
  4. Pour the dressing mixture over the crab and celery.
  5. Gently fold all ingredients together until the crab is evenly coated. Do not overmix.
  6. Taste the salad and add salt and pepper as needed.
  7. Cover the bowl and chill the crab salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to combine.
