Make this incredibly easy, creamy cinnamon honey butter at home in under five minutes. It tastes just like the restaurant favorite and is perfect for rolls, pancakes, or toast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Place the softened butter into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, honey, ground cinnamon, and salt to the bowl.
  3. Use an electric hand mixer or a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment to beat the ingredients together on medium speed.
  4. Mix for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture is completely smooth, light, and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  5. For a plain Cinnamon Butter variation, omit the honey and increase the powdered sugar to 3/4 cup. For a Brown Sugar Cinnamon Butter, substitute the powdered sugar with 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • For the best texture, ensure your butter is truly softened, not melted. This helps prevent the butter from separating.
  • This spread is excellent for elevating simple meals; consider it a quick alternative to complex meal planning.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Let it sit out for 15 minutes before serving for easier spreading.
