Ingredients
Scale
1 (750 ml) bottle chilled Champagne or Prosecco
1 cup cranberry juice, chilled
1 cup orange juice, chilled
1/2 cup orange liqueur (optional)
1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 orange, thinly sliced for garnish
1 cup lemon-lime soda or club soda, chilled (optional, for extra fizz)
Instructions
Prepare the fruit: Slice the strawberries and gather the cranberries. If using, prepare the orange slices for garnish.
In a large punch bowl, combine the chilled cranberry juice, orange juice, orange liqueur (if using), and simple syrup. Stir well to mix the base liquids.
Add the sliced strawberries and whole cranberries to the punch bowl.
Just before serving, slowly pour in the chilled Champagne or Prosecco. Stir gently to combine without losing too much carbonation.
If you want extra fizz, gently stir in the chilled lemon-lime soda or club soda now.
Garnish the punch bowl with the thin orange slices. Serve immediately in glasses filled with ice, ensuring each serving gets some fruit.
Notes
For an easy make ahead punch, mix the juices, syrup, and fruit 2-3 hours ahead of time. Keep the mixture refrigerated. Add the Champagne and soda only right before guests arrive.
If you need a non-alcoholic champagne punch option, substitute the Champagne with chilled white grape juice or sparkling white cider.
To make this an elegant drink recipe, freeze some of the fruit slices or whole cranberries in ice cube trays with a little water to create decorative ice rings or cubes.
