Hi, I’m Alex, and I’m so glad you’re here. I believe that incredible, soul-satisfying food doesn’t have to be complicated. This Easy Cheesy Baked Ravioli Casserole is perfect for busy weeknights when you need a satisfying, gooey cheese pasta bake that feeds the family fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (25 ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Spread about one-third of the marinara sauce evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce. Do not thaw the ravioli first.
  4. Spoon half of the remaining marinara sauce over the layer of ravioli. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Place the remaining half of the ravioli on top of the cheese layer. Cover this layer with the rest of the marinara sauce.
  6. Top the casserole evenly with the remaining mozzarella cheese and all of the Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is melted and lightly golden brown.
  8. Let the baked ravioli rest for 5 minutes before you serve it. This helps the dish set up.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can substitute half of the marinara sauce with a creamy Alfredo sauce for a creamy baked ravioli version.
  • If you want crispy edges, ensure the top layer of cheese touches the edges of the pan.
  • This recipe works well as a make ahead pasta bake; cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking, adding 10-15 minutes to the bake time.
