Make tender, flavorful steak bites effortlessly in your slow cooker. This recipe uses simple steps to create juicy sirloin cubes coated in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed sirloin steak into your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss gently to coat the pieces evenly.
  3. Pour the beef broth over the steak cubes.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours, or on HIGH for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the steak is tender.
  5. About 15 minutes before serving, prepare the garlic butter sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  6. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic brown.
  7. Pour the melted garlic butter mixture over the steak bites in the slow cooker. Stir gently to coat the steak.
  8. Cook uncovered on HIGH for an additional 10 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the meat.
  9. Stir in the fresh parsley before serving. Serve immediately over mashed potatoes or rice.
