Crock Pot Ranch Chicken

Make creamy, shredded ranch chicken in your slow cooker. This easy recipe is perfect for busy weeknights and can be served in sandwiches, bowls, or with pasta.

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  4. Add the cubed cream cheese on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  7. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the sauce.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • This shredded chicken is versatile. Serve it on buns for sandwiches, over rice for bowls, or mixed with pasta.
  • For a thinner sauce, add a little more chicken broth.
  • You can also use chicken thighs for this recipe.
