Make these Ultimate Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wraps for a quick lunch or easy weeknight dinner. They feature crispy chicken tossed in tangy sauce and balanced with cool, creamy ranch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (use your favorite brand for bold flavor)
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (for the chicken toss)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese dressing (for serving)
  • Optional: Celery sticks and carrot sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: In a shallow dish, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  2. Cook the chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the floured chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Toss in sauce: Reduce the heat to low. Pour the buffalo sauce and the ranch dressing over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Toss gently until all the chicken pieces are evenly coated.
  4. Warm tortillas: Warm the flour tortillas according to package directions, usually by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20 seconds or heating briefly in a dry skillet.
  5. Assemble the wraps: Lay a warm tortilla flat. Layer shredded lettuce, the sauced buffalo chicken mixture, and shredded cheese down the center.
  6. Wrap and serve: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up from the bottom. Slice the wrap in half if desired. Serve immediately with extra blue cheese dressing on the side.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can air fry or bake the floured chicken instead of pan-frying before tossing it in the sauce.
  • If you prefer a tangier flavor, swap the ranch dressing in the sauce toss for blue cheese dressing.
  • These wraps are great for meal prep; assemble them just before eating to keep the lettuce crisp.
