Enjoy a comforting and easy creamy garlic chicken made in one skillet, perfect for a weeknight family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
  8. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly and the chicken is heated through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Serve immediately with your favorite side, such as mashed potatoes or pasta.
  • For a richer sauce, you can add a splash of white wine when cooking the garlic.
  • Adjust garlic amount to your preference.
