- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1–2 jalapeños, finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Crackers or baguette slices for serving
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cilantro, red onion, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a serving dish.
- In a small bowl, stir together the cranberry sauce and diced jalapeños.
- Spoon the cranberry-jalapeño mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans, if using.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled with crackers or baguette slices.

- For a make-ahead appetizer, prepare the dip up to 2 days in advance and store covered in the refrigerator.
