Ingredients
Scale
1 (12 count) package sweet Hawaiian rolls
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 pound thinly sliced deli turkey
1/2 pound thinly sliced deli ham
8 slices Swiss cheese
4 slices cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon (optional)
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls cut-side up in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and dill weed to create the sauce.
Spread half of the sauce mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
Layer the turkey evenly over the sauce. Top the turkey with the Swiss cheese slices.
Layer the ham evenly over the Swiss cheese. Top the ham with the cheddar cheese slices. If using bacon, sprinkle it over the cheddar cheese.
Spread the remaining half of the sauce mixture over the cheese and meat layers.
Place the top half of the rolls carefully over the fillings.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the poppy seeds. Brush this mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders.
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing them apart between the rolls. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add very thin slices of tomato and lettuce after baking, just before serving.
If you do not have Hawaiian rolls, use soft slider buns, but you may need to adjust the baking time slightly.
This recipe works well as a game day slider recipe.
