Ingredients
Scale
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup finely diced apple
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or skillet.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and press the seams together to form a rectangle.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Spread the melted butter evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over the butter.
Scatter the diced apples evenly over the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Carefully roll up the dough lengthwise, starting from one of the long sides. Pinch the seam to seal.
Cut the roll into 8 equal pieces. Place the pieces cut-side up in the prepared baking dish or skillet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
While the rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Add more milk if needed to reach desired drizzling consistency.
Let the rolls cool slightly in the dish, then drizzle with the glaze. Serve warm.
Notes
For a make-ahead option, prepare the rolls up to the point of baking, cover them, and refrigerate overnight. Let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking.
You can bake these in an air fryer at 320°F (160°C) for 10-12 minutes, checking for doneness.
Feel free to add chopped pecans or walnuts with the apples for extra texture.
