Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
  • Apple slices, for garnish
  • Cinnamon sugar, for rimming glasses

Instructions

  1. Prepare your glasses: Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rim into cinnamon sugar.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine apple cider, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup (if using).
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses filled with fresh ice.
  5. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and apple slices.
  6. For a big batch, multiply the ingredients by the number of servings needed and mix in a pitcher. Serve over ice.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, use a spiced apple cider.
  • If you don’t have orange liqueur, you can substitute with 1/4 cup of orange juice and 2 tablespoons of agave nectar.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup to your preference.
